Premium tailors in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon): suits from $300

The shops on this page are grouped by what reviewers reported paying for one suit, and all 17 had such a figure. At the lower end, one reviewer at Nhut Tailor quotes 6 to 7 million VND (around US$300) for the most affordable good two-piece and paid 11.5 million VND (about US$500) for a three-piece in better wool. At V.Man Tailor, a half-canvas suit in 70% wool costs about 9 million VND (roughly US$360) and takes two to five days with two fittings.

Higher up, the extra money goes into cloth and time. Binh Tailor charged 18-19 million VND (roughly US$700-750) for a two-piece and shirt, usually in three to five days with two fittings. A three-piece at Kim Bespoke costs around US$820, and a normal order takes three to four weeks or more. At Oriole Bespoke a suit in ordinary wool is US$900 to US$1,700 and one in Loro Piana cloth about US$2,500, over 10 to 14 days. Dung Tailor takes the same 10 to 14 days with a mock-up fitting, at around US$500.

Because most of these shops ship, the payment terms matter. At Tricia & Verona tailor, at least 20 of 90 reviews describe full payment taken upfront for orders to be shipped after the customer left, then months of excuses and no delivery. Do not prepay in full for anything that has to be shipped. At one Duan Tailor branch, a 2-star review reports a fabric price raised after the quote and an 8% card surcharge that was not mentioned in advance, so ask about card fees before you pay.
